Hello folks I just bought a bt dongle to get rid of my wire for my Sony PS3 controller. Asus USB BT400 Its supporting Bluetooth 4.0 downwards to 2.0 (+controllers) My OS is Win7 64b It seems like this dongle is not detecting the PS3 controller with any driver. And the Pairing tool is not detecting the dongle. (My PS3 still does, so the controller is not broken) Googled now like 6 hours for solutions. The most hopeful advice I could get was this Guide: I also tried: The delivered Asus BT400 driver The delivered Asus BT400 driver + zadic override The normal Windows Update driver The normal Windows Update driver + zadic override The motionjoy drivers The motionjoy drivers Updated with my dongle Hardware id (%MIJ.DeviceName%=CC_Install, USB VID_8086&PID_0189) + Install The Better Ds3 tool drivers with Sixxaxis Pairing tool divice drivers For sure I was deinstalling those drivers each new step and rebooting PC. Does anyone else use this BT Dongle and have the same problem?
I actually need to thank you for that Video, in fact it solved my issue completely! And yes I do have a USB-BT400 from Asus and it do work with bluetooth. That video you linked me to actually helped a lot. Here is what I did. First I uninstalled the driver (ScpDriver.exe) Secondly I swapped port of the USB bluetooth so it won't load same driver just in case. Then I started the program the video described.
The item for me is called ASUS BLUETOOTH DEVICE. Installed Driver. Then started ScpDriver.exe and installed the driver as well. And from here on it just simple worked for me. Originally posted by:I actually need to thank you for that Video, in fact it solved my issue completely!

The only difference is that you need to open ScpServer at the end, some log information will load and then you just need to mark your controller (Pad 1), and then click 'Pair' at the bottom, all this needs to be done with your usb cable connected to your PS3 controller, after pairing simply unplug your cable and enjoy! After this you can also open ScpMonitor and the Host address will appear and so your controller information (This does not appear before using ScpServer). Thank you again for this thread, I hope you guys can fix it as well, greetings ^^.
