Re: What the heck happened to my ASIO driver? 2014/10/31 15:11:16 ☄ Helpful by mike_mccue 2014/11/02 08:05:49 mike_mccue Thanks Bob. I'm wondering if there is a way to find the Generic ASIO driver and unistall it.
Hi I have a line 6 ux1 audio interface and have downloaded the most recent win 10 driver from them. I use cubase and fishman triple play software. Does anyone have a quick tips setup configuration or optimization for using asio and multitrack and music software in windows 10? The driver line6 has appears to have been poorly written and seems to randomly shut down. Sometimes i can load the driver in the fishman triple play app 32 bit mode only and sometimes it won't work. I see the driver listed in the options menu but when I click on it I get an error saying failed to initialize or cannot load. In 64 bit mode the app will not even launch.
It does not work in cubase either. The only reason I bought the dell laptop was to use it for this purpose. I have tried a variety configuration settings to make this work but to no avail. I thought it was going to be ok after i did a few tweaks but then i went back to it a week later and had the same old problems. I,m wondering if the Microsoft focus on wasapi and low latency WDM drivers has somehow caused a major conflict with ASIO compatibility. Line6 insists that the driver they have works and that I must have some configurations wrong.
I have been on a few forums and it appears 100's of people are having similar issues to what I am experiencing. Does anyone have any tips or help to offer on making windows 10 play nice with my brand new laptop and new audio interface? None of the manufacturers seem to have any info regarding optimization of windows 10 for professional music applications.
Something is desperately needed. I was able to get things to work in ASIO4all but the performance was inferior. Pops clicks latency etc. Before i ditch the PC and switch to a mac can anyone shed some light on this? I find it amazing that Microsoft has not teamed up with any of the developers of pro audio software or offered any information on optimization.
I am equally puzzled that the DAW and other APP developers have not taken the time to research windows 10 and offer optimization docs either. This is a mess and I am totally frustrated by the lack of support across the board from all parties concerned. Any information would be appreciated! Hi Paul, Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. Mvci driver for toyota.msi download.

Hi unfortunatley I have tried to re install the driver multiple times. I even went as far as doing a full recovery on my laptop re installing Windows 10 and reinstalling all of my DAW software as well as the fishman triple play app. I tried to use the generic driver mentioned in the info you sent and the line6 audio interface will not work with that. Canoscan 8800f driver. After re installing everything I can use the audio interface for watching videos on you tube or playing music in media player etc but it appears anything that requires using an ASIO driver will not work. Will there be an update in the operating system to allow better function for musicians using ASIO devices? Somtimes I can get it to work in the 32 bit version of the triple play software but when I close the app and re start it the interface will not work with it.
