Hi, I have troble to install MEi driver and software using SCCM to Windows 10 clients. From CMD all goes fine, but using sccm is problem.
I have HP Pavilion 15-n038sx Notebook Since i have installed Microsoft Windows 10, i have an issue on shutdown feature. Every time i press shutdown the device doesn't respond (Although the system making shutdown but the device still on), and every time i have to force shutdown to off my pc. Please note that i didn't have this problem on older Microsoft Windows (Windows 7 & 8 & 8.1). I have tried many times to reinstall the system (Win.
10) but i still have the same issue, although all (win.10) features are working correctly and stable. Please note that i have tried to install the last BIOS update from HP support, but i still have the same issue. I hope to help me solving this issue ASAP. Hi melindahp, I see that you are having an issue with 'shutdown' option after installing Win 10. I have found a solution in the forums that seems to resolve this issue successfully. Please let me know if this helps! HOW TO RESOLVE SLEEP/SHUTDOWN ISSUES • Download version 9 or 10 of the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver.
• Navigate HP's Software and Driver Downloads site () to find the latest approved driver for your model. Filter by version, selecting Microsoft Windows 8.1 on the dropdown menu. Look for the download in the 'Driver-Chipset' category.
If an MEI driver with a version number starting in 9 or 10 is listed, download it. [Version 9.5.24.1790 1.5M () will work for most models.] • If an MEI driver with a version number starting in 9 or 10 is NOT listed, download the appropriate driver directly from Intel (). [Version 9.5.24.1790 1.5M () will work for most models.] • Download the Windows 10 'Show or Hide Updates' Troubleshooter Package ().
• Change the Windows Update Services setting from Automatic (Delayed Start) to Manual. • In the Control Panel, select Administrative Tools and open Services. • Scroll down to Windows Update and double-click it to bring up its properties. • Click Stop to stop the service from running. • Change the Startup Type to Manual and click OK. • Install version 9 or 10 of the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver.
If you receive a dialog warning about replacing a newer version of the software, accept it. • NOTE: You do NOT need to uninstall version 11 before installing version 9 or 10.
Driver update 2.9 keygen. Consistent scans by Smart Driver updater will discover and change out-of-date or corrupt drivers on your OS confirming that your system is constantly totally optimized. • Frequently the major issue met by customers upgrading to Windows 8 is that their current hardware is not compatible by their new OS.
The presence of some version of the driver is required in order to 'upgrade' (or in this case downgrade) it. • Run the Windows 10 'Show or Hide Updates' Troubleshooter Package and hide updates to the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver.
(Doing so will block your system from automatically reinstalling or showing updates for version 11 of the driver.) • Change the Windows Update Services setting from Manual back to Automatic (Delayed Start). • Restart your computer. You can finally sleep and shut down again. Hope this helps Sydney_A.
