Installing and Running System Requirements • 1.2 GHz CPU and above • 3D video card with 64 MB dedicated memory • 512 MB Dedicated RAM • Mac OS X 10.6 or Higher • 1.4 GB available on hard drive • 16-bit color • 800x600 screen resolution Installing Adventures of Dr. Brain We highly recommend that you quit all applications before installing the game.
To install the program: • Download JumpStart Advanced 3-5: The Adventures of Dr. Brain package from the Mac App Store. • Open the downloads folder in your Mac. • Double click on the JumpStart Advanced 3-5: The Adventures of Dr. Brain package to start the installation.
• Follow the prompts to complete the installation. Running JumpStart Advanced 3-5: The Adventures of Dr.
Brain • Double click on the Adventures of Dr. Brain Icon on the desktop. • You can also launch the program by selecting the Jumpstart Advanced folder in Applications and double-clicking the Adventures of Dr. Brain application. Uninstalling JumpStart Advanced 3-5: The Adventures of Dr. Brain • To uninstall the program, locate the Jumpstart Advanced folder in the Applications folder and move it to the trash. Sign In Begin your adventure: • To sign in as a new player, click on the entry box at the top and type in your name.
• To select a name from the player list, scroll through the list and click on the name you want. The name will appear in the entry box. • Once you’re ready to start your adventure, click on the ”Go” button. • If you want to delete a name from the list, select the name you want to delete, then click on the trash can.
• If you want to quit the game, click on the Exit button (the back arrow icon) at the lower left. Moving Around in Adventures of Dr.
Brain • • • Navigating the Game It’s easy to explore and have fun using the arrow keys on the keyboard: • Press the up arrow key to move forward and the left and right arrow keys to turn left and right. Press the down arrow key to slow down and move backwards. • Press the Spacebar to jump. • Press the control key to fire your SPAMr (SPastic Anti-Matter Ray). Main Game Interface • Coin Counter: Displays the number of coins earned in the game.
• Communicator: Gives you information about the game, access to stores and inventory. • Exit Arrow: Quits the game. The Communicator The Communicator gives you access to your inventory, the virtual stores, and Dr. Brain’s Journal. Virtual Store button: Click on this to access the virtual stores. The Jumpee Store is where you go to buy clothes for your Jumpee.
The Sea Creature store is where you go to buy sea creatures for the Aquarium refuge. Inventory button: Click on this, then choose the category to see what you have in your inventory.
If you are having issues a few things i might try: Uninstall/Re Install Drivers, ensure the USB port you are using is active, update windows, make sure you have the correct USB controller selected (if you have used another usb game pad it may show up as an option to select).
