Hi guys, after updating my system to windows 10 (from win 7) I got BSOD for about 4 weeks with different informations. I decided to clean install win 10 again. For about 24 hours my system was stable. But now I get BSODs from time to time. Mostly after I played SC2 for hours and while I am using Chrome (hanging on different websites).
The last BSOD was driver overran Stack buffer. And I remember one that said Driver IRQL not less or equal with was shown another time. Now i dont know what to do. I can only guess whats the reason, I suspect my power supply unit but it was working before I updated to win 10. So im clueless to be honest. I would be very thankfull if you can help me. Attachment 38189 Sorry for my bad english (no native):).
Hi axe0, thank you for the fast reply i updated my system specs to show you my HDDs. I got another BSOD while booting my system in the morning for the first time. Pressing the reset button on my PC does not work (the System went off, but did not restart). Pressing the power button for 3 seconds and pressing it again to start the system worked fine. I add the new zip folder below. Now i am back in windows and seatools is running - results: short drive self test: passed short generic test: passed long generic test: passed. Hi, sfc run two times and as shown below, no error was found.
Attachment 38342 There was no BSOD the whole day. The only problem that occured was that it is still impossible to restart my pc by restart button or any automatic restart function (like at the end of driver installation etc.
The system just dont boot after that, not before I turn the PC off and on again. I mean with restart it turns off and somehow on (Fans are running and LEDs are on but there is no 'BEEP' from the mainboardspeaker and the Screen remains black while the LEDs on the screen is flashing like its in StandBy mode. Perhaps that are useless informations but I just share them in case they can help. PS: I switched system language to english to ease the communication here.
Nov 12, 2015 A driver overran a stack-based buffer (or local variable) in a way that would have overwritten the function's return address and jumped back to an arbitrary address when the function returned. Basically the driver overran its local variable. Update: I've run the oculus-driver exe and my problem still persists.
