  Since upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 over 3 months ago the inbuilt Bluetooth that came with the Dell XPS 8300 desktop no longer works. It does not even show up in device manager. I saw too late that Dell doesn\'t support this model on Windows 10, even though it was a top of the range desktop just 4 years ago. Does anyone have the same problem or, even better, have a solution please? (I\'ve tried the suggestion of renaming the old driver file but Windows 10 says very forcibly that I don\'t have permission to do so.). Hi, Welcome to Microsoft Community.   F) Click Next to run the Hardware and Device Troubleshooter. If you are unable to see the Bluetooth in device manager, I would suggest you to install the Bluetooth driver from the manufacturer website. Method 2: Install the Bluetooth driver from the manufacturer’s website. You can logon to the manufacturer website and install the driver latest drivers in compatible mode. Incidentally, your Method 1 doesn\'t seem to apply to my installation of Win 10. There are no tabs at all in control panel.

  Am I missing something? As to method 2, there is no Win 10 driver on the manufacturers website for the \'Dell Bluetooth 365 card\'. Others have reported this issue at and there doesn\'t seem to be a satisfactory conclusion, even using the suggested driver from Lenovo. Thanks for the post. I followed the process, but no luck.

  See my steps below: Lenovo Bluetooth file installs the Broadcom Bluetooth driver (see screen shot below) At this point, after I hit Finish, it then asks to install the enhanced data rate software (see the screen shot below) At this point, I chose not to install the enhanced version and restarted the computer. Still blue tooth missing from All Settings -> Devices and Device Manager and also from Control Panel -> Programs and Features. After that I started again and when I got the above stage, I chose to install Bluetooth with enhanced software. Following message window pops up: After clicking he cancel button, I however restarted the computer hoping it might got installed.

  Still no luck. I upgraded to Windows 10 last year. Bluetooth was working fine until last month. I think recently anniversary updates also got installed.

  That may have caused the driver removed and now I do not see any traces of it on my Dell XPS 8300 desk top. I tried installing Bluetooth 360 driver from Dell in Windows 7 compatibility mode as well as without compatibility mode. But it ends up as this can\'t be installed on this version of Window (window10).

  

  My HP Pavilion 17 E048CA laptop had the same issue. HP however is better as they provided the upgraded version of driver for windows 10 and now Bluetooth on laptop is fine. Dell is either not doing anything on this matter or probable late. There is no response from them on their community website.
