Solved: See description in comments. The other day, I bought an X52 Pro, and have been struggling to get it set up. I've googled for hours, and haven't even noticed anyone with the same issue I'm having, even though it's happening on both of my Windows 7 computers. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if something's faulty or what. In a nutshell, the issue I'm having is that when I bind key presses to buttons in the profile editor, they just don't take. If I go up to the little gear thing to test the profile, none of my button presses register, though input from my keyboard and mouse do.

Canon 5d mark iii serial number. Is it possible to estimate the manufacturing date of Canon 5 D Mark III by the serial number on the camera? We know that cameras with 1 or 2 in the sixth place had problem with light leakage because they were the first two early batches. Hi, I just enquired of PhaseOne as to why their DAM & RAW processor does not show the Camera Serial Number and I received the following reply 'Is this going to be corrected in a new Firmware release or is it a feature of the 5 D Mark III?' You need to ask Canon instead of this public forum.
If I open the control panel, all of the button presses and axes are highlighting their corresponding indicators, and pressing a button while in the profile editor will take me to that button's programming box. When I apply the profile, the screen even shows the names of the commands on the buttons I press.
The key presses I bound to it just aren't happening though. I can open notepad and nothing gets typed when my profile is applied, and obviously, in game, they don't work. In game (Kerbal Space Program), I can bypass the profiling software and bind buttons and axes to actions, to a certain point.
The game itself won't register anything beyond button, I think, 19, which is one of the hat directions. I'm not sure if that's a limitation of the game, or what.
So, my computer can apparently get the input from the button presses, but the profile programming software doesn't seem to be able to actually apply it's commands to the actions. I'm kind of at my wit's end and considering sending it back to Amazon. Has anyone had an issue like this before, and/or have any idea how to solve it? Got it working.
I believe the problem was that Windows 7 was refusing to use the drivers because they were unsigned. I will outline the steps I took that finally got it working so that I'm not a, but note that in the end, multiple variables got changed, and some of them are almost certainly unnecessary.
The most likely culprit is, as I said, the unsigned drivers. • Uninstalled AVG and • Followed the steps outlined in to clean the drivers off of my system for a fresh install.
• to allow installing unsigned drivers. • Installed Saitek x52 Pro driver version 7.0.39.0 (the latest version as of this comment). • Installed Smart Technology version 7.0.27.13, which can be found. Ratchet and clank future a crack in time all cutscenes. • In the 'C: Program Files SmartTechnology Software' directory, set the applications ProfileEditor, ProfilerU and SmartTechnology to run as administrator (right click > properties > compatibility tab > checkbox at the bottom). I'd guess the uninstalling of antivirus software and running the programs as admin are unnecessary, but I'm tired of messing with it at this point and will probably just leave well enough alone.
