Washburn Serial Numbers
Posted:adminOct 14, 2004 - Does anybody know whether the serial numbers for the Washburn Jethro Burns mandolins have any meaning? I am looking at an A-style. As far as I can determine, early Washburn serial numbers were pretty haphazard and never gave any indication of date of manufacture. By the way - my research indicates that the fire happened before the turn of the century (in the1880's).
Washburn guitar's began making guitars in 1883 in Chicago, IL. Their history is deeply rooted in American music & culture, as Washburn guitar's got their first taste of the spotlight from groundbreaking Chicago blues musicians in the 1920's. Windows 3.11 disk images. Windows 3.0 / 3.1 For Workgroups 3.11. Windows 3.x was the first to gain significant development and commercial traction. It combined the 8086, 286, and 386 modes of Windows 2 in to one package. It replaced the MSDOS Executive with a Program Manager and File Manager similar to those in OS/2 1.x.
